The first one is a Piano Walz called "Immortal Beloved", a piece I expressed the day I saw the very film on Beethoven's life (Gary Oldman).
I can really visualize an ICE-SCATING duet dancing to this music. Continuous modulations.... eternal search....... Ahhhh!!!
The second one is called "Beast & the Beauty" & depicts exactly that i.e.Beast's frustration expressed with piano clusters all over the range of the piano until Beast meets his Beauty who enters with a love theme played by the harp contnuing with improvs on the love theme..... ...Ultra Ultra Romantic..and one of my best performances.
The other 2 clips stem from my show at SATALLA June 8 2004 with Dreamband featuring special guests soprano Julie Ziavras , tenor Yiannis Papastefanou, middle eastern dancer Amira Mor , vocalist -bouzouki player Chris Papadopoulos & folk clarinet player Lefteris Bournias. Special thanks to Omar Faruke for shooting the Satalla concert as well as to my Internet friend & pal Arnold Joy Blackwater for the beautiful narration of his poem to the Dance of The Sacred Prostitute.
